HOW TO USE:

Take a bowl (Avoid using metal bowls or utensils for mixing, as they can react with the natural chemicals present in the henna) with a tea cup quantity of warm(not hot) water. Now mix henna and water together well and apply it on washed hair. Stay for an hour or so and wash it off with plain water. Apply oil on dry hair and wash it with shampoo on the next day.

SKIN TYPE:

Henna is a natural pigment and will not cause harm in most cases. However, it is always best to perform a patch test to ensure that your skin is not sensitive to this plant.

PROS:

  • Reduces hair fall
  • No side effects as other chemical products in the market

CONS:

As it a natural pigment, doesn’t last for long time.

COLORS AVAILABLE:

AYUHINA is available in dark brown, burgundy maroon and black.

DO’S & DONT’S (By Ayuhina)

  1. Do store Henna in a cool, dry, dark place.
  2. Do test your hair’s elasticity before applying henna. Pull off a single strand of hair, wrap around index fingers, and stretch. If the strand does not increase by a minimum of one-third, the hair will need preconditioning.
  3. Do check commercial henna hair products for pesticides and heavy-metal testing.
  4. Don’t use henna in the area near your eyes, eyebrows, or internally.
  5. Don’t use henna on newly chemically treated hair; it may cause unplanned hair variations.
  6. Don’t coat the hair with henna right before getting a perm. Henna can restrain the activity of the perm chemicals and thus, reverse the perm’s results.
